hidrotechnikos įrenginių statybos inžinierius statusas T sritis profesijos apibrėžtis Inžinierius, kuris projektuoja hidroelektrines, vandens tiekimo, laukų drėkinimo, vidaus vandenų ir kitokias sistemas, planuoja, organizuoja ir prižiūri jų statybą, eksploatavimą ir remontą. Jis organizuoja ir atlieka darbus vandenvalos, vandensaugos, melioracijos, žuvininkystės, hidroenergetikos, kaimo statybos ir vietinių kelių objektuose, parengia techninius duomenis, kontroliuoja darbų kokybę. Vadovauja darbininkų ir mechanizatorių darbui, priima atliktus darbus. Gali atlikti geodezinius matavimus ir savarankiškai spręsti įvairius išvardytų objektų eksploatavimo ir remonto klausimus. Specializuojasi dambų, hidroelektrinės statinių ir kitokių įrenginių, kanalų ir užtvankų, irigacinių, dirvožemio drėkinimo, drenažo ir potvynių kontroliavimo sistemų, rezervuarų, siurblinių ir kitokių vandens panaudojimo kontrolės statinių projektavimo, statybos, eksploatavimo ir remonto srityse.
